One of the most colourful natural sandstones, with a warm mixture of reds and oranges, Rippon Buff is the perfect stone to add a sense of warmth along with a splash of colour to any space.

Sandstone is a fantastic, natural and time-resistant material that is easily the most popular natural stone choice for patios. The balance of colours and durability make it a no-brainer for all projects.

Rippon buff is a sandstone which is made up of an attractive mix of colours whilst still looking like an authentic natural sandstone. This classic sandstone is composed of mostly orange shades which swirled with pinks, purples, greys and even an occasional yellow shade. The resulting finish is a colourful, yet subtle area which adds.

The stone is a sedimentary stone, which consists of small grains that are held together by a silicon ‘natural cement’. It’s this ‘cement’ that gives the sandstone wide-ranging variations in colour and texture.

Delivery Charges: Delivery costs vary dependent on postcode and will be applied within the basket . checkout process. Charges are calculated based on the number of pallets required.

Failed Deliveries

• In the unlikely event that we’re unable to complete the scheduled delivery due to access restrictions or a non-secure delivery location (front garden / driveway), you may have the option for redelivery subject to customer approval and additional delivery charges. If the delivery can’t be rescheduled, then no refund is available.
• To avoid any delivery issues to a secure location at the front of the property, we strongly advise someone being present to receive the delivery, otherwise additional charges may apply, as explained above.
• Deliveries will only be made to the address selected for shipping at the point of order, and cannot be changed on receipt of the delivery, otherwise additional charges may apply.
• For any orders that are returned (unless deemed faulty), the customer is liable for the return shipping fees, plus a 35% charge of the initial order value, for restocking.
• Returns will only be accepted in full, partial orders will be declined.

Understanding Damages in Transit: Key Points

While we prioritise delivering your order in excellent condition, when shipping fragile materials like slabs, occasional breakages can occur. Ordering extra material can help cover rare transit damage or installation mishaps, and ensure your project stays on track.

What You Should Know:

• Reporting Damage: Notify us of any damages within 48 hours and include photos so we can assist you efficiently.
  How We Handle Claims
• Damages Over £100 exc. vat: We’ll file a claim and arrange replacements.
• Minor Damages (<£100 exc. vat): These fall below the claim threshold, so replacements aren’t available. The construction industry expects a 5–10% breakage rate for fragile materials.

If significant damages occur, we’ll resolve them promptly with replacements (not refunds).

• Size: The slabs are a mix of four different sizes – 90cm x 60cm | 60cm x 60cm | 60cm x 29cm | 29cm x 29cm
• Edges: The edges are all hand-dressed. This makes for edges that have a classic feel, but still sit nicely side-by-side. 22mm Thick
• Surface Finish: The surface has a riven effect for a more traditional look.
• Colour Palette: Varying shades of oranges, swirled with pinks, purples, greys and even subtle yellows throughout.

What is a Rippon Buff Paving, Mixed Size Patio Pack?

Typically, paving slabs are sold in packs, pre-defined by a specified meter coverage – E.G 17m²

Mixed Size Patio Packs contain a mixture of four different size slabs within a pack, making up the overall stipulated meter coverage.

We pack a well-balanced mix of all slab sizes, ready for you to easily install at your convenience, creating many beautiful patterns.

What area does a Rippon Buff, Mixed Patio Pack cover?

Our Mixed Size Patio Packs are available in increments of 5m2, allowing you to choose the appropriate pack size for your project without incurring  excess wastage.

A full patio pack of Slate will cover an area 18m²

Mixed Size Patio Packs are available as follows:

• 18m²
