Our Standard Moisture Resistant MDF is a premium grade fibreboard with a smooth face and no natural flaws, for use in humid environments.

It is ideal for use in shop fitting applications, furniture manufacture, general construction, as well as internal joinery, panelling, boxing in, furniture, and shelves.

We offer a wide range of MDF Boards in a variety of sizes.

• Spend up to £120 (exc. vat) on our Timber or Building Material range for a delivery fee of £20.
• Spend between £120.01 and £210 (exc. vat) on our Timber or Building Material range for a reduced delivery fee of £15
• Spend over £210 (exc. vat) on our Timber or Building Material range for FREE delivery!

Zone 2:

• Spend up to £120 (exc. vat) on our Timber or Building Material range for a delivery fee of £23.
• Spend between £120.01 and £299.99 (exc. vat) on our Timber or Building Material range for a reduced delivery fee of £18

Delivery Logistics: All our Timber range products will be delivered by 3rd party vehicles.

Kerbside delivery applies as standard, but we will typically try to deliver to your front garden or driveway – We will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off of any public highways.

**If a delivery scheduled is to a gated community, this will need to be communicated to us in advance and access provided. Where restricted access applies, if waiting times are encountered for the delivery, then additional charges may be incurred.

Cancellations, Exchanges; Failed Deliveries:

• For any orders that are returned (unless deemed faulty), the customer is liable for the return shipping fees equivalent to that incurred in the original order (Timber orders also incur a 75% charge of the initial order value).
• In the unlikely event that we’re unable to complete the scheduled delivery due to access restrictions or a non-secure delivery location, the customer is responsible for the restocking and redelivery fees. If the delivery can’t be rescheduled, then no refund is available.
• If your products are faulty, please email photo evidence over within 24 hours for review.
• All returns or exchange requests need communicating to us via email or telephone within 3 Working Days to be considered (faulty, or not).
• If your order arrives incorrect (missing items etc.), this also needs communicating to us via email or telephone within 3 Working Days to be considered (faulty, or not).

What is MDF?

MDF (Medium Density Fireboard) is an engineered material made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into fine particles, combining it with wax and a resin binder, before applying high temperature and pressure.

Where is MDF used?

As it is a versatile product, it is used in many homes and professional projects such as furniture, cabinetry, flooring, internal mouldings and packaging material due to its smooth finish, machinability, strength and consistency.

MDF Appearance

Unlike plywood, MDF doesn’t have a wood-grain appearance; it has a consistent light-brown colour with no discernible texture or pattern. MDF is much harder, smoother and denser than plywood, and it doesn’t have any voids, knots, or splinters.
