Muck Away
Often referred to as Muck Shifting, Muck Away or Site Clearance, these common industry terms are used to describe a range of activities involving the removal of waste or spoil from a construction environment.
Experienced in the Muck Away and Waste Management field for over 40-years, we have an extensive fleet of tippers, grab lorries and articulated vehicles to remove the hassle from any large volume waste removal.
Configurations include 4, 6 and 8 wheel basis, carrying up to 18.5-tonnes load capacity and can be allocated dependent on specific job requirements (with low-emission variations available for urban settings).
All vehicles are fully compliant with the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS).

To improve environmental credentials, regulations with regards to ‘Muck’ movements have tightened in recent times.
Operating our own licensed waste transfer stations, landfill sites, recycling centres and soil treatment facilities; the Mick George Group ensure that all our services are completed with full compliance.
Approved by the Environment Agency, we have the ability to collect, recycle and dispose all waste materials; including Clean, Inert, Green, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous.
Our dedicated material segregation hubs provide opportunity for recovering materials and redistribution back in to the construction market. Simultaneously, our wider Earthmoving and Aggregate Supply services permit the ability to complete Muck Shifting on backloads, both of which allow us to provide particularly competitive rates.
