Donation to the British Heart Foundation
Charities
Past, present and future; the Mick George Group places great emphasis on its charitable contributions, ensuring that it does what it can to support local initiatives with wide reaching benefits.
Charities
As well as our dedicated Community Fund, Sports Fund and local sponsorship scheme, the Mick George Group has supported many fantastic and worthy Charities over the years, contributing towards numerous initiatives that have benefitted the diverse communities in which the business operates.
Wishing not to restrict our Charity partnerships, the Mick George Group has moved away from its ‘Charity of the Year’ programme that was formally in place, to instead support on a more ad hoc basis, assessing each request on its own merit and expanding the volume of beneficiaries.
Addenbrookes Charitable Trust
The donation of £120,000 from the Mick George Community Fund helped The Addenbrookes Charitable Trust create of a stunning new ‘Community Garden’ at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Replacing the existing uninspiring and inadequate facility, the Garden’ is now a landscape, that is idyllic and a calming outdoor space for patients, visitors and staff to enjoy. The picturesque and tranquil design features a seated area, water features, iconic sculptures and beautiful plantations.
