Emission Reduction Targets

The Mick George Group is committed to reducing carbon emissions by 30% by 2030, and to be net zero before 2050, using 2018 as the base year.

As we continue our progress towards achieving net zero, we have adopted the following targets to be reached by 2030.

 

 

To reduce our total carbon emissions by 30% by 2030
To reduce carbon emissions from our business travel by 50% per employee by 2030
To ensure 100% of procured goods and services are responsibly sourced by 2030, and switch our energy supplies to 100% renewably sourced
To lean on our supply chain to reduce their carbon emissions by 30% by 2030
To recover and recycle 100% of the waste we collect on behalf of our customers, developing new sustainable products, and creating alternative fuels
To remain carbon neutral by offsetting 100% of our carbon emissions
