Cold lay asphalt is an asphalt paving material that can be laid without the use of hot-mix equipment. Col lay asphalt is most commonly used for small repairs, potholes, driveways, paths and patching.

Cold lay asphalt will typically set within 24 hours, although if you intend to use the driveway excessively then it is advised that you allow at least 48 hours before driving on it and several days to weeks before the asphalt is completely ready.
