Our continued investment in an experienced team, facilities and equipment makes us the number one choice for Land Remediation services in London and surrounding areas.
London Remediation Testing & Surveying
Accurately classifying waste soils and the segregation of contamination hotspots has always been challenging in London.
Traditional site investigation and laboratory testing methods often mean sampling is too wide ranging and time consuming. This often results in contractors having to guesstimate where contamination exists. Underestimating the issue poses risk, whereas overestimating costs money. The Mick George Groups ability to rapidly measure for contamination on site including Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) and Metals, means we are able to give chemical results on site in a matter of seconds, meaning hotspots can be identified accurately and immediately. |
London Remediation & Contaminated Land
The regeneration of brownfield land in London and surrounding areas is increasing, however it often requires significant remedial works to be carried out, if the development is to be a success.
The Mick George Group has established itself as a pioneer in all aspects of remediation, bioremediation and the specialist treatment of soil contamination; offering solutions which assess, mitigate and undertake removal of gross contamination.

Hazardous Waste Landfill Facilities
Traditionally, managing the almost inevitable presence of Contaminated and Hazardous Waste materials that arise from construction projects in London and surrounding areas can be difficult, with the majority, if not all waste ending up in landfill, incurring significant costs for the contractor or developer.
Which is why the Mick George Group focus attentions on treatment and landfill diversion; subsequently investing in state-of-the-art Hazardous Segregation Stations and Soil Washing equipment which permit the ability to convert Contaminated materials in to reusable commodities that can be redistributed to market, saving our clients money while improving their environmental contribution.
Situated in Mepal, Cambridgeshire, our new Hazardous Segregation facility is capable of processing up to 400,000t of Contaminated Waste materials per annum and importantly, is the nearest facility to London for both hazardous and general / inert materials, saving valuable transportation costs – especially as we run our own fleet too.
We can treat a variety of contaminants including soils, oily sludges, pile arisings, railway ballast, treatment plant residue, river and lagoon dredgings, tunnel shaft arisings and de-littered gully and sweeping waste. We can also dispose of SCA (Soils Containing Asbestos) and ACMs (Asbestos Containing Materials).
Lump Sum Payment
To offset the unknown variables associated with Contaminated Land and Land Remediation in London, we’re prepared to offer both Lump Sum (Fixed) pricing solutions to manage all risk factors, or flexible pricing structures – whichever works best for you.
From site surveys and testing, to removal, haulage and disposal, the Mick George Group are confident that we’re best suited to taking care of everything.
