Skip Waste Materials

The nature of your project or clearance is likely to determine the waste materials that you are looking to dispose of.

Subsequently, we provide multiple Skip types specifically for different waste materials. It is important that you select the most appropriate one for your needs, as it will determine the cost, size variations and availability (plus any additional surcharges, should the incorrect materials be added).

Predominantly, we supply four types of Skips – General Waste, Inert Waste, Plasterboard Waste and Wood Waste (Other Skips are available, I.E Asbestos / Hazardous Waste)

Our most popular Skips are General Waste and Inert Waste; which cater for most Home and Garden waste materials.

Fridges, TV’s, monitors, tyres or hazardous waste which includes paints, solvents, liquids or batteries are not permitted within the Skip types aforementioned. However, we do also offer a range of hazardous waste disposal services, including asbestos bags.

Other Waste Skips – What can go in an Inert Skip?

Inert Waste Skips are generally for outdoor materials such as, bricks, tiles, concrete, ceramics, soil, clays, sub-soil, top-soil, or hardcore mix (less than 10% tarmac). Inert, Hardcore or Soil only Waste Skips are only available for 4 Yard and 6 Yard skips.

Please note: A 8 Yard skip is the maximum size for inert, hardcore or soil waste, only. Any Skip that is larger, 12 Yard or above, cannot be fully loaded with hardcore and, or soil. These materials must be mixed with other lighter materials due to weight restrictions.
