IT Support Technician
My apprenticeship at the Mick George Group started with a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician course, which has transformed into a pivotal steppingstone in my career. The course helped equip me with a robust set of skills and knowledge, laying the foundation for my transition into a fully-fledged IT Technician role upon completion of the course. Day-to-Day, I was deeply involved in maintaining and optimising the IT infrastructure, as well as interacting with many different people around the business. I enjoyed my time learning during the course, and I’m excited to see how I can progress further in the business and industry.

As an administrative support apprentice, I offer support to various teams within the business, including the Sales Team, Customer Services and Contracting. My day-to-day tasks include quality checks, data entry, reporting, and logging sales opportunities. The programme at the Mick George Group has been nothing short of amazing, filled with countless opportunities to learn and develop my skillset; all supported from my management and colleagues.

Commercial Process and Cost Manager
I manage commercial and financial aspects for the Contracting division of the business. The Mick George Group has provided the platform for me to progress over the last 6 years. The commercial degree through an apprenticeship has given the business further opportunities to provide improved services to stakeholders but also formalise skills gained through the workplace.
