A blend of durable rye grasses with fescues to provide a hardwearing, dense sward. Grows better in open sun, with good drought tolerance. Prefers maintaining at a higher mowing height of 1″ or over and is able to withstand constant foot traffic from children at play and family pets.

Any discrepancies with the product need to be reported on the same day as delivery. Laying of the turf is essential same day, to preserve the best condition.

Therefore, we strongly advise that someone is present to receive the delivery, otherwise it will be too late to report any potential issues.

Turf will be delivered by a pallet courier that primarily uses 18-tonne rigid trucks. However, it is possible that your turf delivery could be made on a larger vehicle.

If access or other restrictions prevent vehicles above a certain size reaching your address, or there are other offloading or parking restrictions which could affect the delivery, let us know in the during the checkout process, so that special turf delivery arrangements can be made.

In the unlikely event that we’re unable to complete the scheduled delivery due to access restrictions or a non-secure delivery location (front garden / driveway), you may have the option to receive the original turf the next day subject to customer approval and additional delivery charges. If the delivery can’t be rescheduled, then no refund is available.

Please make sure you double check the delivery postcode and address carefully as after your order has been shipped, it is likely we will not be able to make any amendments to your order or address.

Grass turf is unloaded using a manual pallet trolley which is lowered to the road by the tail lift on the truck. Unfortunately, we do not offer Hi-ab (truck-mounted crane) turf deliveries. To offload the pallet, the surface must be flat and level. Since grass turf and topsoil can be heavy, and the pallet trolley pulled by the driver has small wheels, pallets cannot be delivered onto soil, grass or gravel – a tarmac or paved surface is required.

Kerbside turf delivery means that our turf is delivered as close as possible to the delivery address you provide. Our helpful drivers will do their best to place your turf delivery where you wish, such as a driveway, but this is at their discretion.

• 30% Barpearl slender creeping red fescue

One roll of Garden Grass turf measures 61cm x 164cm and will cover an area of 1m². The average weight of each roll is 12Kg, considerably less than many other branded turf products, which means it is easier to handle and cheaper to transport.

To avoid issues with your turf please make sure it is laid on the day of delivery.
