Product Information
Each purchase quantity equates to 1m2 of product. Limestone can fit up to 17m2 in a single box.
Yellow Limestone is a stone that feels wonderfully traditional. When you think of a classic stone area, yellow limestone is what jumps to mind for a lot of people – the blends of yellow, creams, browns and greys are often when people imagine when they think of slabs and as a result, this is an incredibly popular choice. This is a distinctive and durable Indian limestone which suits almost any house style and can create stunning, unique patios that are bursting with character. As is the case with natural stone, there are variations across each slab. The blend of colours across the palette only add to the effect that the choice of yellow limestone helps create.
This stone has been through an extra process know as ‘tumbling’ – this process rolls the stone in a tumbler which softens the edges and gives the stone an aged feel in a short space of time. This is perfect for anyone looking to create a traditional feel for their space as the ageing effect is instantly noticeable. The surface finish of limestone is much smoother than what is typically found on the regular sandstones.
Whilst not sawn smooth, the surface of limestone is naturally quite smooth – we would describe this an ‘orange peel’ texture, so will looks smooth from a regular perspective but will have small, irregular pitting across the surface.
As with all natural materials, our Paving supply may be subject to minor chipping, this is not to considered to be a fault or defect.

Understanding Damages in Transit: Key Points
While we prioritise delivering your order in excellent condition, when shipping fragile materials like slabs, occasional breakages can occur. Ordering extra material can help cover rare transit damage or installation mishaps, and ensure your project stays on track.
What You Should Know:
- Reporting Damage: Notify us of any damages within 48 hours and include photos so we can assist you efficiently.
How We Handle Claims - Damages Over £100 exc. vat: Well file a claim and arrange replacements.
- Minor Damages (<£100 exc. vat): These fall below the claim threshold, so replacements arent available. The construction industry expects a 510% breakage rate for fragile materials.
If significant damages occur, well resolve them promptly with replacements (not refunds).
Specifications
- Size: The slabs are a mix of four different sizes – 90 x 60cm, 60 x 60cm, 60 x 29cm, 29 x 29cm
- Edges: The edges of these slabs are clean cut, sawn edges which have then been tumbled. This makes for straight edges, but that have been aged in a tumbler.
- Surface Finish: The surface is a naturally smooth surface, but with a light pitting.
- Colour Palette: Yellows, Creams, Browns & Greys.
