What are Bricks?
A brick is a type of block used to build walls, pavements and other elements in masonry construction. The term brick denotes a block composed of dried clay, but is now also used informally to denote other chemically cured construction blocks.
Bricks are usually merged by interlocking techniques using mortar or adhesives and can be built-up into complex shapes and designs.
Brick Types
There are three main types of bricks – facing bricks, engineering bricks and common bricks. However, there are many more variations, styles and manufacturing processes that make different bricks suitable for different jobs.
Where are Bricks Used?
Bricks are the most abundant and natural material on earth and have been used for building structures over many thousands of years because of their durability.
Brick houses can last at least 100 years with minimal maintenance.
Popular Brick colours
Popular brick colours include red, white, tan, brown, orange, grey, or black, with many different variations within them as well as a wide variety of styles and cuts.
