The Employee Service Team

Headed up by Michael Moriarty, the new Employee Services team undertake a wide range of roles and responsibilities associated with ensuring that our workforce have all the information they need to ensure a enjoyable and productive career with the Mick George Group.

They’re here to help all 1,000 plus of our employees but as you can imagine it’s a time consuming task.

Michael Moriarty - Head of Employee Services

Wholeheartedly supported throughout my 6-year career at the Mick George Group, from my initial administrator role to the Head of Employee Services position that I currently occupy, it is my focus to ensure that all other staff receive the same quality of engagement and assistance that I have.

Taking care of business payroll for a number of years (CIPP Qualified), I’ve established many good relations with the majority of our employees. My attention is now to satisfy any other related workforce requirements beyond this isolated pay issues.

Always keen to absorb new knowledge and information, I’ll do what I can to utilise these skillsets to benefit our employees where possible; especially important in an economic climate that we’re currently operating, whereby legislation, regulations and opportunities are forever changing.

We have an amazing workforce of over 1,000 staff, and while that presents its own challenges from a resource and time perspective, rest assured we’ll always do what we can within the appropriate timeframe to satisfy any issues.

Laura Hayter - Employee Services Coordinator/Advisor

Originating from a Hospitality background, my passion has always been people orientated, ensuring that individuals needs are satisfied; a skillset that certainly benefits within my current role.

Since joining the HR function of the business and ascertaining my CIPD qualifications, I’ve been fortunate enough to conduct a diverse range of administrative tasks which covers various aspects of the business, allowing me to develop a broader understanding of the needs of all business areas and what’s required to support the respective team members at both senior and junior levels.

A friendly and approachable personality at heart, I’m always available to offer advice and assistance wherever needed.

Brittany Peak - Employee Services Administrator

Having been employed by the Mick George Group for more than 3-years, withholding a Customer Services position, I have developed a wealth of experience across our broad range of products and services, which provides a solid foundation for engaging with our employees across all areas; and being able to offer a genuine understanding of their requirements.

My diverse role covers various responsibilities, not least, payroll queries, annual leave requests, absence reporting, as well as more involvement with the recruitment and selection process.

My job is to help, support and give advice where it is needed. Having been well treated since my arrival, it’s important to me to ensure that all other employees receive the same great experience.
