The Mick George Group provided Concrete Supply for the extension of Liebherr Great Britain’s Head Quarters in Biggleswade
Within the 15-acre site at Stratton Business Park, Biggleswade, new state-of-the-art facilities will be installed which will include preparation workshops for the earthmoving, mobile crane and concrete divisions, a customer centre, as well as welfare for the engineering teams.
The Mick George Group were awarded the contract due to a number of factors, most notably their ability to service the necessary demand of 104m³ per day (4,000m³ total), using dedicated Liebherr manufactured Barrel Mixers.

The new facility will adjoin the company’s existing 9-acre complex at its Bedfordshire home, permitting the Businesses continued provision of industry-leading service to their customers.
An initial capital investment of £8 million will ensure that the company has both the resources and capacity to support a period of sustained growth in the UK.
Projected completion is scheduled for the end of Q1 2022.
