Gen designation used for a series of Concretes that are used for housing, and similar non structural applications. Ideal for:
- Cavity Filling
- Kerbing
- Haunching
- Domestic Foundations

C10 Concrete, or Gen 1 Concrete is an extremely versatile mix used throughout the construction industry for general and housing applications. This includes un-reinforced strip, trench fill and and agricultural applications.
It can also be used for drainage works and blinding house floors, as well as pad foundations and non-structural mass Concrete in non-aggressive ground conditions.
Concrete strength:Â 10N/mm2 at 28 days
Ideal for:
- Step Foundations
- Trench Fill
- Floor Blinding
- Drainage Works

C15 Concrete or Gen 2 Concrete is suitable for house floors with no embedded metal. It also provides the ideal material for flooring when no permanent finish or floor covering will be installed, such as carpet or tile.
Concrete strength: 15N/mm2 at 28 days
Ideal for:
- Foundations for Small Walls & Sheds
- Paving for steps & paths
- Strip Footings
- Trench Fill Foundations

Gen 3 is commonly used for light duty domestic applications and foundations. It can be used to construct internal floor slabs that contain no embedded metal and will be covered by carpet, tiles or laminate flooring. It is also suitable for domestic garage floors, but we suggest a minimum of RC25/30 should be used if the garage is also used as a workshop.
Concrete strength: 20N/mm2 at 28 days
Ideal for:
- Foundations for Garages & Extensions
- Reinforced Bases & Oversites for Conservatories & Greenhouses
- Paving for Patios
