St Ives Scouts Campsite Improvements
The Mick George Community Fund have financed a project to provide improvements to the current 7th / 8th Cambridgeshire St Ives Scout Group facilities, through the installation of new toilet facilities, security provisions and site maintenance equipment, to create a cleaner and safer environment.
The improvements are set too benefit the Scout Group directly, but also the wider community as well.
It’s projected that the upgrades will see the venue become more of an welcoming environment, enabling groups to communicate more easily and socially, enhancing the health and wellbeing of local residents.
The St Ives Scout facility offers a wide range of activities such as canoeing, boating, campfires and camping, all of which contribute to the life skills and health of its users.
