Community Benefit
This project will replace worn and damaged safety surfacing across the Spratton Recreation Field playground to ensure continued safe use by the community. The site provides a wide range of facilities including play equipment for different age groups, a skate park, basketball court and youth shelter. These are well used by local families, particularly given the limited access to alternative
facilities.
The recreation field is widely recognised as a vital village asset, particularly given limited transport links and lack of alternative facilities nearby. Its level of use demonstrates that the site is a well-established and heavily relied upon community asset.
