Replacement Windows for RUSH 2 The DEN
The Mick George Community Fund has provided financial support to the value of £20,000 to local children’s charity, RUSH 2 The DEN for the installation of new Velux windows.
RUSH 2 the DEN applied through the Mick George Community Fund, having identified the need for improvements to be made.
The previous windows had been in place for many years and had become highly inefficient. The new A rated energy efficient windows will create a much more welcoming environment, alongside saving on energy costs for years to come.
Community Benefit
RUSH 2 The DEN operate as a non profit children’s charity, offering play facilities for a variety of young ages. The newly installed windows will ensure that babies attending can do so in an environment that remains at a consistent temperature, and that the charity can continue to apply their budget to further improvements for members of the community.
RUSH 2 The DEN support over 6300 people annually and have recently been awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service.
