Having purchased their first baler just 18-months back; predominantly focused on baling general waste materials and plastics, the Company has made a significant half-million-pound investment at their Ellington, Cambridgeshire site, on a new Presona LP110 CH2 Baler and Fed Conveyor which will tackle the escalating Cardboard materials that the firm handles from its customer base.
As well as processing Cardboard from the huge volume of waste accumulated through the businesses various waste management streams, the firm is proactively seeking to grow its third-party relations with those producing large amounts of Cardboard waste.
Undoubtedly, the LP110’s capability to bail in excess of 30-tonnes per hour will help the business achieve that quest. However, aside from that benefit, another incentive will be the extra attention that is being spent on segmenting materials to ensure the ability to export materials that comply with the 0.5% contamination restrictions set-out by China under legislation change.
Reinforcing that sentiment, the Company has this week undergone rigorous CCIC inspection, for which they have been certified to continue distributing Cardboard to China.

The new machinery is an expansion to the comprehensive Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) that the organisation already functions at various operating locations. The recent addition will certainly boost their credentials in effectively handling the various waste types, diverting it away from landfill.
