Waste Sales Support Coordinator

Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Waste Sales Support Coordinator to join the team.

Location: Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon

Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm, Saturdays as and when required.

The role will predominantly focus on providing administrative support to the Commodities division and the Contaminated Soils team. The successful candidate will be expected to offer a first-class customer experience by answering inbound phone lines, contacting customers and managing shared inboxes. The role also includes completing a range of administrative tasks, including processing orders and enquiries, supporting invoice and ticket queries, producing reports and assisting customers with portal use

Main Responsibilities

You will work with the Technical Waste Sales Team to ensure tasks are organised, prioritised and completed efficiently. You will communicate regularly with the Technical Waste Director and assist the Contaminated Soils team with enquiries, quotations and supporting documentation. You will also support the Commodities division with the administration required throughout the buying and selling process. Delivering excellent customer service, multitasking, clear communication, sound decision-making and close attention to detail will be central to the role.

  • Responsibility for first class customer experience, answering inbound phone lines, calling customers and organising inboxes
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers with order enquiries and making sure they are booked on
  • Reviewing operations systems to check work is allocated and sharing this information with Sales Team
  • Developing relationships with customer accounts to ensure maximum customer retention
  • Liaising with internal departments such as transport to ensure best service is received by the customer
  • Diary/Inbox management
