Cambridge FC First Home Game Entertainment
As fans return to the Abbey Stadium for Cambridge United’s first home league game of the season, after what seems an eternity, the Mick George Group will be offering plenty of entertainment offerings throughout the day to ensure that it’s a memorable occasion; from free fixture t-shirts to Mick the Skip mascot, and the half-time Skip Challenge, plus much more.
To get your hands on the commemorative fixture t-shirts, fans are urged to arrive early to secure one from outside the Abbey Arms. Sure to be in high-demand, the t-shirts will be being handed out at random between 1pm – 2pm* (Limited availability, first come, first served), for the Oxford United FC fixture (Saturday 7th August).
Bring the kids a long for a photo with Mick the Skip mascot too.
The Skip Challenge for the 21-22 season will be a two-team affair, where two CUFC fans will take on two opposing fans for local bragging rights, and the chance to bank £50* if they manage to land the ball in the skip as intended. There will be a rolling prize fund for each fixture where no home participants are successful, equating to a possible £600 jackpot.
Want to see how the Skip Challenge is done? Watch the Cambridge United squad have their attempts!
We can’t wait to see you all back at the Stadium for CUFC’s first game back in Sky Bet League One!
