The Mick George Driver Academy
We have carefully designed our own Driver Academy to equip new and existing drivers with all the skills they need to ensure safe and aware driving practices in line with guidelines set out by CLOCS and FORS. The Mick George Driver Academy offers new and existing drivers the chance to obtain a LGV C (Class 2) licence and gain employment as a professional LGV driver with the fastest growing haulage operator in the East of England.
The ‘Driver Academy’ will provide a total licence acquisition service, providing complete support for all aspects.

About the Course:
Stage One – Selection |
1. Attend an interview at Mick George Head Office, Huntingdon |
Stage Two – Administration & Theory |
2. Obtain D4 from www.gov.uk and book an LGV Medical with GP |
3. Request D2 form from www.gov.uk. Complete and send this along with the completed D4 and their Driving License to the DVLA to gain Provisional Category C entitlement |
4. Revise for theory tests whilst waiting for licence to be returned with provisional entitlement. |
5. Upon receipt of provisional license book theory tests |
6. Sit theory tests at your local DVSA Centre (1a, 1b & Mod 2) |
Stage Three – Practical |
7. Attend Module 4 training and take test at your local DVSA Centre |
