Baled Cardboard
Baled cardboard is cardboard which has been fed into a cardboard baler. The baler helps compress the cardboard into compact bales, making it a lot easier to be stacked and transported for recycling.
Baled Cardboard
In the UK, households and businesses use up to 12.5 million tonnes of paper and cardboard every year, with substantial amounts ending up in landfills. While paper is considered less harmful than non-biodegradable materials such as plastic, it still requires tremendous amounts of water and raw plant material to produce.
There are numerous different ways to deal with large quantities of cardboard, but one of the most effective ways is baling. Baled cardboard is cardboard which has been fed into a cardboard baler. The baler helps compress the cardboard into compact bales, making it a lot easier to be stacked and transported for recycling.
Baling cardboard is performed for two main reasons, the first is to make handling and storage more cost effective, and the second is it reduces freight cost. Being able to load the maximum amount of weight into each container, means the cost of transport will be much lower.
