St Ives Rugby Union FC Door Safety Improvements
The Mick George Community Fund has provided financial support to the value of £11,615 to St Ives Rugby Union Football Club for much needed door safety improvements.
St Ives Rugby Union Football Club applied through the Mick George Community Fund, having identified the need for improvements to be made.
The previous external doors had been in place since the property was built, in 1995. The doors had become highly inefficient, as well as a health and safety risk due to their inability to close softly.
Community Benefit
The newly installed external doors will allow all visitors and club members a safe and secure entrance to the clubhouse and with an estimated yearly footfall of 10,000 people, the new doors will offer a safer environment when members of the community hire out the facility.
