Our Aggregate Supply capabilities and outstanding reputation has been largely established on our ability to deliver quality materials, a reliable service, and competitive rates; variables that are only possible with the appropriate infrastructure in place – something that sets the Mick George Group apart from many other Aggregate suppliers.
A natural product by nature, makes the availability of aggregates, whether that be a particular range or volume, inherently difficult to acquire for your ‘average’ suppliers who are sourcing externally.
We eliminate stock issues by continuing to invest in our own quarries, situated strategically in six different counties throughout the Anglia and East Midlands regions.
Not only does this allow us to replenish stock whenever required, but it also allows us to determine the quality, consistency and grade-specification of the primary aggregates that we distribute.
Courtesy of our state-of-the-art soil washing and treatment equipment on-site, all primary aggregates are ‘Cambs Spec’ approved – Cambridgeshire County Council’s required quality specification for Housing Estate Roads (HER).
Railheads & Aggregate Materials
Further safeguarding our ability to supply aggregates without capacity issues, and to enable a wider range of materials; several of our quarry locations also facilitate transportation to railheads throughout the country which eases accessibility to imported or scarce products.
Our quarries produce a wide range of fill and sub-base materials, as well as more common building and decorative products; including Limestone, Ballast, Sand, Granite, Gravel, Fines, Hardcore, Topsoil, Slate and more, suitable for any commercial, trade and residential projects.
Our aggregates are available for delivery and collection from 32 separate locations throughout Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire and Norfolk.
