Thanks to a generous donation made by the Mick George Group, Wellingborough and District Nene Angling Club have replaced their old tractor with a brand-new Kubota Grass cutting Machine. It is anticipated that the upgrade will help maintain the ambience of the destination for all visitors.
The location is home to 3-lakes and more than 2-miles of the River Nene. While it’s recognised primarily for its recreational fishing provisions, the location also attracts many walkers and visitors from the local communities.
Wellingborough and District Nene Angling Club has over 2800 members including over 300 juniors who use the facilities on a regular basis to partake in fishing with friends and family. The club is well known for developing and managing its waters effectively and generating good relationships inside the local community.
