Leverington Church Road Playground

Thanks to a generous donation made by the Mick George Group, Leverington Parish Council has installed a brand-new play area for youngsters in the community.

Located only 20 metres from the school gates, the playground encourages children to partake in more social and active recreation.

The new equipment replaces the current apparatus which dates back more than 11-years and has in recent times suffered general neglect.

Leverington Parish Council took responsibility of the playground after parents from the school joined together to raise funds to improve the facility . The village hall, village shop and the sports and social club all gave their support, with the belief that this playground could be a pivotal place in the local community,
