Lancaster Avenue Play Area Resurfacing
The Mick George Community Fund has provided financial support to the value of £18,469 to Carbrooke Parish Council for the resurfacing of the Lancaster Avenue play area.
Carbrooke Parish Council applied through the Mick George Community Fund, having identified the need for improvements to be made.
The play area has been well used over a number of years, and due to wear and tear on all surfaces, had become a health and safety risk. The improvements made through the Mick George Community Fund will allow for members of the local community to continue to enjoy the play area for many years to come.

The housing estate at Blenheim Grange has over 900 houses, with more currently in construction. Residents from nearby estates on Norwich Road in both Carbrooke and the town of Watton also come to use the equipment, which contributes to its popularity.
