Dereham Hockey Club – Disabled Toilet Installation
The Mick George Community Fund has provided financial support to the value of £20,000 to Dereham Hockey Club for the installation of new disabled toilet facilities.
Dereham Hockey Club applied through the Mick George Community Fund, having identified the need for improvements to be made.
The club have experienced a loss of earnings due to the lack of disabled facillities. The improvements made through the Mick George Community Fund will allow for the venue to become fully inclusive and attract many more members of the community.
Community Benefit
The facilities will be usable by people with physical disabilities, elderly individuals, parents with young children, and those with temporary injuries. By ensuring that everyone, regardless of physical ability, can access basic amenities, the project promotes equality and inclusion.
