Foam Concrete
Foamed Concrete is an extremely flexible, low density material incorporating up to 80% air. It is generally self levelling, self compacting and may be pumped. Risk of plastic shrinkage or settlement cracking is significantly lower than that of Standard Concrete.
Manufactured using admixtures, Foam Concrete comprises densities and compressive strengths to suit your bespoke application requirements or operating conditions.
The versatile and practical product is lightweight, free flowing and easily placed with no compaction required, specifically developed as an ideal trench reinstatement material.
Foam Concrete Benefits & Features:
| Pumpable | Thermal & Acoustic Insulation |
| Self Levelling | Freeze / Thaw Resistant |
| Self Compacting | Lightweight |
| Reduced Labour | Risk of Subsidence |
Foam Concrete Applications
Foamed Concrete is ideal for filling voids such as disused sinkholes, sewers, basements, cellars, sub-ways, tunnel, fuel tanks, and pipelines, as well as structural stabilisations and insulating fill – particularly where access is difficult.
