Asbestos Air Monitoring
Mick George Environmental provide UKAS accredited Asbestos air testing and monitoring to assist before, during and after Asbestos works or Asbestos disturbances.
If for any reason you’re suspicious that an environment is or has been exposed to airborne fibres containing Asbestos materials, we would advise that air testing procedures are completed at the earliest opportunity to prevent further risk to those that come in to contact.
We would particularly encourage air monitoring in settings that have a background of Asbestos related incidents or where leakages have been uncovered.
Asbestos air testing is an activity where a sample of air is drawn through a filter over a measured period of time. During this time, airborne particles are collected on the filter which is then prepared for a phase-contrast microscopy examination, whereby calculations on the overall fibre concentration, shown as fibres per cubic centimetre of air (f/cm3) is measured.
Asbestos Air Testing
All air testing and analysis will be conducted on-site within an approved concealed environment. Our mobile laboratories use the latest software to ensure accurate results are recorded and distributed within days of collection.
