Summerleys Business Centre

The historic, attractive market town of Princes Risborough which lays at the foot of the Chiltern Hills is set for a significant new Business Centre to be created on Summerleys Road.

The consented scheme has the full support of the Town Council and surrounding neighbours as it will provide a range of high quality, flexible business units which will create much-needed employment space for the area given the proposed westerly expansion of the town by some 2,500 dwellings. Inhabitants are projected to increase from 8,000 to 14,000 / 15,000.

Construction specialists Mick George Ltd has recently begun Earthworks for the project on behalf of Lodge Park Construction Ltd.

This new, high quality industrial / warehouse development is situated at the end of a well-established gated business park environment, between Ercol Furniture and Princes Risborough Railway Station, providing excellent transportation links.

The development comprises 8 industrial units, which includes both production and office space, totalling 33,348 sq.ft. Ranging in size between 2,902 sq.ft and 6,503 sq.ft (GEA), there is the option to combine units into a maximum of 17,374 sq.ft.

Externally, yards are also provided for each unit, together with 70 car parking spaces and landscaping. Units will have minimum internal eaves; height of 7m and 4m high roller shutter doors.

Amends to the existing site access road structure was completed late last year in preparation of construction works that are now taking place. A target completion has been set for Q4, 2018.

Michael George, Contracts Director at Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’It’s pleasing to see our services are being increasingly utilised outside of our established territories. This is testament to the high-quality that we’re providing and the investment that the business has made to make the expansion a possibility. We have a positive schedule in place for our contracting services in the coming months, and we’re only looking to further add to that.’’
