Skip Hire Check List
At the present time, we are experiencing extremely high demand for all services, which is subsequently extending call times for customers trying to get through to us.
To avoid those delays, we’ve put together a list of handy tips below which will ease your skip hire bookings, making it easier and faster than ever before.

1 – Preparation & Planning
Plan ahead with your skip bookings and book your exchanges and collections at the same time. This will save multiple calls, and less disruption to your day. The earlier you book, the more chance of availability.
2 – Timing
Our busiest periods for receiving calls are Mondays, weekday lunchtimes and after 4pm. Subsequently, it is likely that you’ll have extended call times, so we’d advise avoiding these intervals and call at alternative time.
3 – Auto Attendant
To direct you to the appropriate representative quickly, please select the most suitable option on the automated phone instructions. Choosing the wrong option is likely to extend your call times.
4 – Order Numbers
When placing orders, please make sure you have your account number and purchase orders to hand. This will speed up the process.
5 – Emailed Orders
You can place order via email at email@example.com. This order will be confirmed via email within 3 – 4 hours. There is no need to call to confirm this booking, as it’s likely to cause confusion or duplicate bookings.
6 – Confirming Orders
Our Skip/RoRo Portal will display all your confirmed orders, so you can check 24/7 any orders that you have already placed historically and for the future.
7 – ETA’S
All deliveries will be completed between 7am-7pm on the date requested, at the point of booking. We can request that the driver calls you when he is on route. You will also receive an SMS 24-hours prior. Please refrain from calling in for ETAs as we’re unable to provide any additional information.
8 – Tickets & Invoices
Both are available in the Skip & RoRo Waste Portal which you should have a dedicated login for. If you need to be set up, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Any customers calling regarding these documents will be directed to the Portal to retrieve.
9 – Collections
If you have finished with the skip early, then please remember you can book your collections online here. Otherwise, your Skip will be collected on the date stipulated at the point of ordering.
10 – Invoice Queries
Please email email@example.com with any administrational queriers and we will aim to get back to you within 48 hours.
