Peterborough United FC Kit Launch

Peterborough United FC launched their brand new 2017-2018 home kit yesterday, at a special event from Serpentine Green Shopping Centre, which saw a number of first team players take to the catwalk to show off the new design.

In a nod to the past, the new strip features red socks, which were last worn on a home kit back in 1974 when Chris Turner was an integral part of the Division Four success. That was the last time that Posh clinched a league championship.

Skipper Jack Baldwin, summer signing Ricky Miller, midfielder Gwion Edwards and striker Junior Morias revealed the kit before signing autographs and posing for pictures with supporters at the Shopping Centre.

The kit proved popular with the POSH faithful, as fans immediately began queing to get their hands on the replica strip.

The football club in conjunction with shirt sponsors Mick George Ltd created a memorable occasion, with plenty of entertainment for all of the family, including the Mick George Inflatable Shootout', and special appearances from Mick the Skip’ and PeterBurrow’ ahead of the big unveiling.
