POSH Kit Launch 2018 / 19
Peterborough United FC yesterday revealed their new 2018-2019 home kit online with supporters able to get their hands on the club’s new strip at a special fun day held at the ABAX Stadium to celebrate the release.
The kit, as modelled by defender Ryan Tafazolli, Danny Lloyd and summer signing Matt Godden, features bespoke blue socks with ‘The Posh’ embroidered on the trims.
As the sun shone and the fans descended on the Club Shop throughout the day, there was plenty of fun for all the family with entertainment, refreshments, music and much more evidenced in the fan zone.
Guest appearances from summer arrivals including; Aaron Chapman, Jason Naismith, Alex Woodyard, Matty Godden, Louis Reed and Mark O’Hara presented opportunity for discussion, photographs and autographs, while Manager Steve Evans was also in attendance.
Children’s entertainment arrived in the form of magic and balloon modelling, a professional face painter and a DJ spinning some summer tunes. Not to mention the three mascots, Mick the Skip, Peterborrow and Peeby.
The Speed Kick machine, as well as Mick George’s inflatable shootout and chip in the skip challenge allowed the youngsters to get in a little extra practice ahead of the new season.
