Club Sponsors draw the curtain in impressive style
The season may not have played out in the way that everyone connected with Peterborough United Football Club had hoped or envisaged, but what certainly cannot be contested is the concerted efforts of its major sponsors, who have continued to provide support, right through to the bitter end.
As the season’s finale draws closer, official kit sponsor Mick George Ltd, as well as Motorpoint, BGL Group and Princebuild have collaborated to ensure that at least the conclusion to the campaign remains a memorable one.
POSH supporters will be treated to an abundance of activities at the last home game of the season against Bristol Rovers, Saturday 22nd April, ABAX Stadium – Kick off 3.00pm.
Pre-match entertainment comes in a variety of forms, for fans of all ages. Youngsters can enjoy face painting, mascot appearances from ‘Mick the Skip’ and ‘Peterburrow’, as well as the Mick George Inflatable Shootout. While those considered slightly more mature, can appreciate the Cheerleaders and Motorpoint ‘Foot-Pool’ game.
During the match, Home supporters will be encouraged to get ‘behind-the-team’ with the designated, complimentary ‘Clappers’ that have been supplied to increase the atmosphere, before an extra special ‘Skip Challenge’ in the half time interval, with a particularly large jackpot prize up for grabs.
Jon Stump, Finance Director of Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’Throughout the season we have engaged with the Peterborough United FC fans in various ways to try and improve the match-day experience where ever possible.‘’
Stump continued: ‘’It has been a frustrating season for the clubs fans but their fantastic support hasn’t waivered and we are keen to reward their loyalty by giving something back. We hope the club manage to finish the season on a high, ready to rebuild for next seasons promotion push.’’
