Over 100 people from the property and construction industry attended the reoccurring Property & Development Quarterly (PDQ) networking lunch on Wednesday 23rd October in Newport Pagnell.
The forum attracted Local Authorities, Developers, Design & Build Contractors, Land Agents, Architects, Engineers and associates from across the nearby counties, to learn about pressing issues in the market, and specifically current and forthcoming, investment and development projects in the Oxford-Cambridge Arc.
Delegates heard from guest speakers; Hilary Chipping (Chief Executive, SEMLEP), James Nicholls (Managing Partner, Stephen George & Partners LLP), Arwel Owen (Partner, David Lock Associates) and James Hill (Director, Industrial & Logistics, Lambert Smith Hampton).
The event was sponsored by the Mick George Group, a local construction service specialist who’s profile continues to grow exponentially, courtesy of the multiple contracting provisions supplied to the property industry,
PDQ is organised by a collaboration of organisations with a collective interest, these include; Geoffrey Leaver Solicitors, SEMLEP, Parkway Construction, David Coles Architects, Apex Planning and 3rd Party Delivery.
Michael George, Managing Director at the Mick George Group commented: ‘’The property sector is an extremely important one for the business as it is often symbolic of the economic status of the wider construction market.’’
George continued: ‘’Having a presence at events such as the PDQ allows us to ensure that our overarching strategy is aligned with any proposed activity in our operating areas.’’
