At the Mick George Group, our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees & customers so we have introduced paperless receipts.
At the Mick George Group, our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees and customers. Following the Government’s recent announcements on the current COVID-19 outbreak, we have identified a potential risk in the collection of signatures from customers on receipt of deliveries and collections.
As you are aware, we have recently moved to paperless deliveries and collections, which means all drivers and weighbridges use electronic devices to collect signatures from customers. As these mobile devices are handled by multiple people throughout the process, from Friday 20th March we have asked all our drivers and weighbridge operators not to hand over the devices to customers anymore.
Moving forward, once a delivery or collection is completed the driver or weighbridge operator will verbally confirm the details of the order with you and ask for your confirmation. They will record your name on the mobile device and sign their name on your behalf. These tickets will still be emailed to you and available through the Mick George portals.
Except this, it’s very much business as usual at the Mick George Group, and this change will help us to continue offering our services in a safe and efficient way. We would like to ask for your continued support and cooperation during these challenging times.
