To celebrate the launch of its new Home and Garden product range, Mick George Ltd has been running a competition for the past two months, providing members of the public in its operating area, with the opportunity to win a Garden Makeover to the value of £10,000.
As anticipated, the offering was particularly well received with applicants sending in pictures and stories in their droves. Thousands of applications were received and after careful consideration the eventual winner was decided.
The Millard family, of Warboys, Cambridgeshire, banked the exceptional prize and has since been liaising with a specialist independent landscaper to create the garden of their dreams.
Mark Millard, Garden Makeover Competition Winner said: ‘'My wife and I are over the moon winning this competition, we had our little girl only one month ago so this was a lovely surprise and treat for us both. The transformation has been incredible; we can’t wait to start using the garden. The on-going work that Mick George Ltd are doing to support the local community with competitions and initiatives such as this is a credit to the business.’’
The garden has undergone major renovation to transform what was formally an unattractive, impractical space, in to an area that the family can enjoy for what ever the occasion. After stripping out the existing groundwork, installation of fencing, paving, sleepers, turf and many other decorative features has converted this garden into a much more pleasant environment.
