11.01.16 - New Year, New Start, New Career at Mick George Ltd
If you’re looking for a new challenge and a change in direction during 2016, then the Cambridge Job Fair, the region’s principal employment, training and education event could provide you with what it is you need.
Organised by Cambridgeshire News and sponsored by Cambridge Regional College, the event will take place on January 20th at the Corn Exchange and organisers will be looking to top the 2,800 visitors that were attracted this time last year.
Among the extensive list of businesses attending this year are Mick George Ltd who continues to increase its employee headcount in a whole variety of departments and specialisms to contain demand for its product and service offerings.
Nicola Gamlin, events and awards manager at Cambridge News said: ‘’The Cambridge News Job Fair is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a new career. Instead of wasting hours trawling the internet and attending wrong interviews, this is the chance to meet a fantastic range of local employees in one place face to face.’’
The event is celebrating its 13th anniversary, and welcomes all who wish to seek advice on possible career openings.
Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’In previous years the Job Fair has proven very successful for Mick George Ltd in finding talented individuals that have gone on to successful careers within the business. We hope that continues this year.’’
Stump continued: ‘’We see it very much as a two way process in which prospects can express what it is they have to offer but we also get to showcase exactly what we are looking for. On top of that, it is also a good networking opportunity to engage with other local businesses.’’
