24.02.16 - New Concrete Click & Collect Service
Mick George Concrete has launched a brand new Click & Collect service in response to increasing demand and requests from customers using their Concrete service.
The new Click & Collect service which is the first of its kind in the surrounding regions, is set to revolutionise the way in which the commercial industry and domestic market purchase Concrete. The move follows the positive feedback after the businesses decision to make Skip Hire and bulk bags of Aggregates available to purchase online recently.
Click and Collect will be available through Mick George Ltd depots at Cowley Road, Cambridge, Lanacaster Way, St Ives, Dogsthorpe, Peterborough and Rushton, Northamptonshire. Customers will now be able to place an order at www.mickgeorge.co.uk/clickandcollect and collect it from their closest depot the following day.
The company currently supplies a next-day delivery service for BSI Kitemark quality assured Ready-Mixed Concrete, barrel or volumetric mixed, in a range of proprietary mixes suitable for projects both large and small.
The concrete provision from the organisation is one that is increasing in line with the growth of the rest of the businesses services and has seen Mick George Ltd add to the number of concrete batching plant premises from which it can serve its expanding customer base.
Garry Woodcock, Concrete Operations Manager at Mick George Ltd commented: “Most people would associate a Click & Collect service with more conventional retail offerings such as clothing or grocery shopping and not for ordering Concrete. However, as we’ve witnessed recently there is definitely demand online for the products we provide.’’
Woodcock continued: “Our Click & Collect service makes ordering Concrete quick and easy as our customers can now place an order on-line with collection the following day without the need to pick up the phone. As a business we are always striving to improve our offering to our customers and hope this service boosts the flexibility and convenience of ordering Concrete.’’
