01.04.2016 - Mick George Ltd arrive in Boston

Having successfully established themselves as one of the leading suppliers to the construction industry in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and more recently Leicestershire, Mick George Ltd has now opened a new site at Boston in Lincolnshire and will be providing local residents with employment opportunities, as well as a host of other community benefits.

A range of prospective careers are available, ranging from Concrete plant supervisors, Grab operatives, numerous driver vacancies as well as a site manager for the new ‘Waste Transfer Station’ premises.

In addition, the business will also open up its £250,000 annual ‘Community Fund’ to worthy local initiatives, inviting applicants from a whole mixture of backgrounds to gain financial support. The next round of funding has just begun.

From its new Lincolnshire base at Nursery Road, Riverside Industrial Estate, Boston, PE21 7TN, Mick George Ltd has extended its operations and will now be supplying its full range of services to domestic and commercial markets, including Skip Hire, Concrete, Aggregates and Commercial Waste. This extends the existing contracting provisions already provided in the region.

Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’The business has experienced continuous expansion in recent years, and adding new geographic locations for our service offerings is a key part of our long term growth strategy. Commercially we have gained a lot of interest in and around Boston for our products and services, so the natural progression was to have a facility within the region whereby we can supply demand.’’

Stump continued: ‘We have forged some wonderful relationships within the local communities around our other sites and that is something we’re keen to replicate here. The community fund offering has gone a long way in helping create, restore and protect a variety of developments over the years with over £1 million donated, and its nice to be able to make this available to a new audience.’’
