21.11.2016 - It’s all about that base, about that base!
Just 3 weeks in to the restoration project, the former Outpatients Garden at Addenbrooke’s Hospital is already a distant memory.
While the first fortnight concentrated on stripping back and shaping the groundworks beneath the surface, this week visible signs of progression can be appreciated, with the site almost unrecognisable to its former glory.
Solid foundations have been installed, with large quantities of your typical building materials, including Hardcore and Concrete, layed to provide a base, in which exciting decorative additions can be fitted.
It’s not just the garden slab that has been created, the base for the iconic water feature that will form the centre piece to this tremendous space, is now also in place.
