Institute of Construction Management
Phil Hayden, began his career at Mick George Ltd some 25 years ago, and having ‘done his time’ working through the ranks, as Quarry Operative, Plant Manager, and Contract Manager, he now holds the acclaimed position of Demolition Director, leading from the front.
Not content with that, Phil is still proactively seeking to extend his already extensive knowledge of the industry, and has managed to gain admission in to an exclusive club that withhold ‘member’ status, within the Institute of Construction Management, after acceptance by the groups ‘Executive Council’.
Inaugurated in 1978, the Institute of Construction Management is a professional organisation with the objective to advance knowledge and best practice in the sphere of Construction Management, promoting the profession, as well as a central knowledge hub for each of its members.
Members range from students, site supervisors, project managers, engineers, right through to managing directors, looking to attain one of 5 grades of membership, for which Phil will be quickly trying to move to the summit, gaining ‘Fellow’ status.
As indicated with Phil’s working’ background, this accolade is just another example of his continuous development within the Construction industry, which will subsequently permit networking opportunity with likeminded practitioners.
Phil Hayden, Demolition Contracts Manager at Mick George Ltd commented: ‘’It’s nice to have achieved the recognition for my efforts, and something that I’m sure will help me in the future.‘’
