2024 Fly Tipping Statistics Released
A report focussing on UK fly tipping statistics for 2024 has now been released. The report found that fly tipping rose by 6% to 1.15 million incidents in 2023/ 24.
The statistics also show that 60% of the reported incidents involved household waste with 688,000 in 2023/24, an increase of 5% from 2022/23.
It is estimated that this level of fly tipping cost local authorities in England £13.1 million in just one year.
