The Brief

On behalf of MJS Construction (March) Ltd, Mick George Ltd have delivered the associated works on the new Festool Headquarters and Warehouse premises at the new Suffolk Business Park development, situated on the fringes of Moreton Hall Estate, between Skyliner Way and the Rougham Junction of the A14.

Festool, a provider of high-quality power tools for more than 90 years is a subsidiary of Festool, Germany. Currently homed on the outskirts of Bury St. Edmunds at Saxham Business Park, the employees will shortly relocate to plot 0100 on the South East edge of the new scheme.

Suffolk Business Park is considered an exciting new gateway development creating an extension to the prime commercial area of Bury St. Edmunds. The park will provide approximately 57 acres of strategic employment land benefitting from major infrastructure improvements to junction 45 of the A14 and the construction of the new Eastern Relief Road.

It has been indicated that as many as 5,350 new homes could be created in the region in the next few years, enticing as many as 10,000 new residents, for which this development could be key.

The Earthworks provision is one of the primary services that will dictate the success of a development longer term. It is essential that the works are completed to a high quality standard, but importantly on schedule and budget, to prevent later issues. Mick George Ltd always meet these credentials, and provide us with so much more.
