After a season which consisted of much change at the helm of Cambridge United FC, everyone connected with club is hoping that the new campaign will be one of far greater continuity.
Under the guidance of Joe Dunne, the team certainly displayed encouraging signs in the latter half of last season, which will undoubtedly stand them in good-stead this time around.
With the management team having now had a sustained period in charge, there is no reason that last year’s mid-table position can’t be improved upon. Pre-season has been optimistic, with the planning ahead of the forthcoming season particuarly meticulous, so the playoffs should definitely be within reach.
As official kit sponsor of Cambridge United FC, Mick George Ltd will be doing all it can to help support the club in every which way possible, hoping to bring the glory days back to the Abbey Stadium, sooner rather than later.
Having partnered Cambridge United FC in varying capacities over the years we have managed to attain a great relationship with the U’s supporters through various engagement initiatives, that is something we will aim to emulate again this season.
As sponsors of the first home fixture of the season against Notts County on the 11th August, Mick George will be offering a host of entertainment to add to the occasion.
Spectators in attendance will have the opportunity to win prizes in the half time interval Skip Challenge, Mascot Mick the Skip will be available for photographs, while promotional girls supported by squad members will be handing out special t-shirts featuring the fixtures for the entire season.
