An industry wide forecast predicts that the construction market will grow by 8% next year, and by 10% in 2026.

New Housing to Grow Construction Market
The report forecasts that an increase in private housing builds could grow by 13% in 2025 and a further 15% in 2026 which would be a welcomed change of direction following falls of 10% in 2023, and 5% in 2024.
A stronger economic outlook is expected to impact online retail and drive a demand for premises, with civil engineering and industrial starts predicted to grow rapidly.
Investment by the deep discount supermarkets, Aldi and Lidl, is set to be a bright spot within the sector over the forecast period, as plans to substantially expand their estates boost the overall sector growth.
