Constructing a Brighter Career with Mick George Ltd

20.01.17

It’s ok, you’re not alone in wondering what it would be like to get on board one of those, diggers, dozers, excavators or hard hitting demolition machines. We’ve all been there, travelling along the road to stumble across a construction site, where every man and his dog seem to be in a World of their own, enjoying each and every second of their working day. Which could seem an extreme contrast to the majority who find themselves in mundane or dull careers, dreading the thought of travelling to work each day.

Instead of pondering what it would be like to take control of one of those impressive machines, why not take action and find out for yourself. You never know, it may just lead you in to an exciting new career and change your fortunes.

Mick George Ltd will be showcasing a whole host of exciting job vacancies at the Construction Careers Day, held at Cambridge Regional College, Saturday 28 January 2017, 9am – 3pm.

A variety of bespoke positions within the Transport, Waste Management and Construction industries are available, including, Plant Operators, Drivers, Site Managers and Workshop Technicians, to office support functions like Customer Service Representatives and Finance roles, or Trade disciplines such as Electricians and Plumbers. Click here for more information.

It’s not all about experience either! The business provides a comprehensive Apprenticeship scheme, providing on-the-job training, that is open to everyone looking to kick-start their career in the industry, accompanied with suitable benefits.
Job hunters will be able to try their hand at various have-a-go activities on the day, with excavator, simulators and tipper truck demonstrations. There will also be interesting talks associated with the industry.
