Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club
It’s not just the new season that’s a hot-topic at Bury St. Edmunds Rugby Club at present, as those connected with the Club have another reason to be buoyant.
After securing a £24,000 grant from local firm Mick George Ltd, a brand-new, modern kitchen has been installed at the Club’s Haberden playing facilities, replacing the existing equipment which dates back to the 1980’s.
A comprehensive range of industrial kitchen appliances have been added, including a 6-burner stove, combi-oven, fryer, multiple refrigerators, plate dispenser, hot storage space and a ventilation system.
The new kitchen apparatus will allow the Club to cater for the ever expanding playing and visitor volumes that are attracted to Haberden, courtesy of the six senior teams, and thriving youth and mini sections that the Club now operates.
It’s anticipated that the Club will now be better served to support a wider range of social, private and commercial gatherings, as a result of the improved catering equipment.
